Annually, State of Vermont employees are invited to recognize their peers who they feel contribute to excellence within state government and make a positive difference in public service. Example qualities might include strong leadership, customer service, dedication, collaboration or teamwork, strategic thinking, adaptability, resilience, etc. Each Agency, Department, Board, or Commission's Appointing Authority selects one winner for their organization to be honored at an award ceremony held that year with the Administration.
