Introducing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Modernization
We are embarking on a significant transformation to modernize and improve the way we work across the State of Vermont. Currently we rely on multiple disconnected systems to manage key functions like payroll, human resources, and financial management. In some cases, these systems are outdated and don’t provide the level of security, efficiency, or integration we need for the future.
While the transformation will take place over the next few years, the changes will be introduced in carefully planned phases to ensure a smooth and supported transition for everyone. Our leadership team is fully committed to making this process as seamless as possible, and there will be ample resources and training available at every step.
What can you expect during this process?
- Phased Rollout: The transformation will be implemented in stages over multiple years. No one will be expected to learn everything at once, and each phase will bring gradual improvements that are easy to adjust to.
- Ongoing Support: Throughout each phase, there will be plenty of resources, training, and real-time support to help you adapt to the changes. Our leadership team is fully committed to providing the tools and help you need.
- Continuous Communication: We will keep you informed at every stage of the project, ensuring you know what’s coming next and how it will affect you. Transparency is key, and your feedback will be encouraged throughout the process.
How does this benefit you?
- Simplified Processes: Tasks like updating personal information, submitting time-off requests, and managing payroll will be faster, easier, and more intuitive.
- Greater Accessibility: With a cloud-based system, you’ll be able to access key information securely from any device, at any time.
- Increased Accuracy: The unified system will reduce errors and make it easier to track and manage important records with confidence.
- Enhanced Security: Protecting your personal and financial information, along with that of all State of Vermont constituents, is a top priority. The new system will provide stronger safeguards than ever before.
